Annie Lucille Dix, 87, passed away on November 28, 2008 at her daughter’s residence in Fort Branch, IN.

She was born to the late Connie and Mary Ellen (Baty) Henderson in Wiville Arkansas.

Lucille is preceded in death by her husband of 64 ½ years, Lawrence Dix on Aug. 3, 2006; one sister, Juanita Jacobs on 2007.

She was a member of the Fort Branch General Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Women’s Mission Group. Lucille loved to Garden, Sew, Quilt, Travel and watch her grandkids.

Lucille is survived by 7 children, Herb and Mo Dix of Fort Branch, Jim and Kathy Dix of Darmstadt IN, Ellen Kirkman of Bennett Colorado, Helen Biggs of Bennett Colorado, Mike and Kenna Dix of Fort Branch, Pat and Jim Pohl of Fort Branch, and Greg and Terri Dix of Stockbridge Georgia; 3 sisters, Louise McClellan of St Peters MO, Johnnie Johnson of Foley MO; 1 brother, Jim Henderson of Warrenton MO; Minnie Helton of Ferguson MO; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation for Lucille will be Monday December 1, 2008 from 5:00pm to 8:00PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home on Hwy 168 west in Fort Branch.

Services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday December 2, 2008 at the funeral home with Reverend Steve Akins officiating Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
