Michael J. Clore, 63, of Fort Branch, IN passed away at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN on Sunday May 20th, 2007 from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.

 

He was born to the late James R. and Kathleen E. (Austin) Clore on Apr. 27, 1944 in Jackson, MI.

 

Mike was a Vietnam War veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for the Indianapolis Power and Light Co. in Petersburg, IN as an Electrician. He belonged to the Fort Branch General Baptist Church, the I.B.E.W., the U.S.S. Washoe County LST Assc. and the Fort Branch VFW Post 2714 .

 

He is survived by his wife, Molly (McCabe) Clore; 2 sons, Chris Clore of Fort Branch, IN, and Carl (Lori) Clore of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 5 brothers and sisters, Marilyn Cooper of Fort Worth, TX., Mitchell Clore of Belmont, IL., Marsha Clark of Festus, MO., Melvin Clore, of Winfield, MO., and Marshall Clore of Union, IN; 4 grandchildren, Kylie, Stephanie, Sarah, and Samuel Clore; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Services for Mike will be on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, with the Reverend Ernie Godshall officiating, burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.

 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The Fort Branch VFW Post 2714 will conducted military services at the graveside on Wednesday.
