Arthur C. Avery, 92, of Fort Branch, IN, passed on Monday, June 28, 2004 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN.

He was born to the late Rufus and Lois (Broshears) Avery on July 13, 1911 in Warrick County, IN.

Arthur was a retired carpenter and was a member of the Princeton Eagles.

He is preceded in death by his son Gary Avery on October 18, 1999 and a granddaughter Stacy (Titzer) Fluty on March 31, 1993.

He is survived by his daughter Patty Jo Titzer of Fort Branch, Grandchildren, Kim Channel of Evansville,IN , Sherry Kiesel of Chattanooga TN, and Tina Kennedy of Evansville IN, and 7 Great-grandchildren, Chase Channell, Jamie Channell, Jared Kiesel, Adam Kiesel, Loretta Cauthen, Dromandic Gunn II and Tiana Kennedy.

Services will be conducted on Thursday July 1, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on highway 168 West in Fort Branch, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch,

Friends may call for visitation on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
