Dorothy Mae Addy, died February 4, 2006 in Albuquerque, NM.

 

The former Dorothy Mae Rexing was born and raised in Indiana. She Attended beauty school in Evansville, IN.

 

Dorothy met and married her soul mate in Indiana after World War II. They were married in St

s. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN and remained married for 57 years. She accompanied her husband to many assignments and moves, both foreign and domestic as his military service required.

 

They raised four wonderful sons: Ron, John Jr., Tom, and Russ, who gave her seven grandchildren.

 

She and her husband were owners and Operators of Dot’s Yarn World for over 20 years in Albuquerque, NM. She loved her customers and they seemed to enjoy her boundless energy and visiting with her. The business was greatly missed when she retired in 1992.  Dot loved life and was devoted to her family, whom she loved dearly.

 

A resident of New Mexico, she loved it’s sun and desert since 1959.

 

No services will be held in Albuquerque. Family members will accompany her to Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN where a graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 21st, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. Father Tony Ernst will conduct the service.

 

Services will consist of the playing of songs to celebrate their wonderful life together. All of their family and friends are invited to attend the services in Indiana.  Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch is handling local arrangements.
