James F. “Jim” Naas age 55 of Princeton died Saturday Feb. 19, 2005 6:20 p.m.
at his home in Princeton.
Jim was born in Princeton May 20, 1949.
He was the owner operator of Naas Ready Mix in Princeton,
Naas Concrete in Evansville, Naas Materials in Elberfeld and Naas Heating and
Cooling Princeton. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Jim has
lived in Princeton for the past 25 years moving here from Haubstadt. He was a
member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, American Legion in
Elberfeld. Jim enjoyed his work and being with his dogs.
He is survived by his wife Lisa, Princeton, three children Wendy and her
husband Mark Tuley, Princeton, Jerica Naas, Princeton
and Leigth Naas, Princeton; his parents Paul M. and
Mary Ann Naas Haubstadt; three grandchildren, Hayden, Hunter and Hannah Tuley, Princeton; one sister, Jo Ann Meth, Evansville; four
brothers, Keith Naas, Mark Naas, Larry Naas, and Tom Naas all of
Haubstadt.
He was preceded in death by his mother Geraldine (Kramer) Naas, grandparents
Frank and Ida H. Naas and uncle Pete Naas.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 23 at the
St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, with Fr. Bernie Etienne officiating,
burial will be in St’s Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Haubstadt.
Visitation will be from 4 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22 at the Colvin Funeral
Home in Princeton. There will be military graveside services at the cemetery.
