Iona L. Maffei, age 89 of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at The Waters in Princeton.

She was a member of the Hillside Methodist Church in Princeton. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the VFW #1147 Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of the Mental Health Association.

She was born November 2, 1916 in Princeton to John & Minnie (Lance) Walker, both deceased.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Maffei in 1975 and 10 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 21, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Craig Duke officiating. Burial will be at the Archer Cemetery in Princeton.

Friends may call from 12 until 2 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. The VFW Ladies Auxiliary will have a memorial service at 1:45 PM before the service.
