Horace “Kelly” Luttrell, age 53, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday January 17, 2006 at the home of his sister and caregiver, Isa Walden and her husband C.W. Walden.

 

He was a member of the Oakland City American Legion #256 and Princeton VFW #1147. He received training in the Navy as a jet mechanic and was proud of his occupation of “keeping those planes in the air”. 

He was born on
January 29, 1952 in Gibson County to Horace C. Luttrell & Margie (Stensor) Luttrell Rowe, both deceased.

 

Also preceding him in death were his two brothers, Michael Luttrell and Charles Weist

Kelly is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Stephanie (Donald) Young & Angela Terry all of Halls, Tennessee; his beloved friend and mother of his daughters, Rosemary Taylor of Halls, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren, Cruz & Callie Young and Josh Terry; sister and brothers, Isa (C.W.) Walden of Princeton, Joe (Ann) Luttrell of Ft. Branch, Bob (Helen) Luttrell of Patoka; half brothers and half sisters, Mickey Rowe, Jr Rowe, Phyllis Hensley, and Dian Dewus; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and all of his special Legion and VFW friends. 

Graveside Services will be held at
2:00 PM on Friday, January 20, 2006 at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

 

Friends may call from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday at the Colvin Funeral Home. VFW Post #1147 will conduct military graveside services.
