Mr. Harold C. Loveless, 87, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2006 at his home.

He was born in 1918 in Massey, In. to Rufus and Nellie (Lovelace) Loveless.

He had lived in Pike Co. for most of his life where he worked in the oil fields. He had worked for the CCC in 1940. He was an avid deer hunter and bagged the largest deer (14 pts) in Pike Co. in 1984. He had attended the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Lillian (Payne); 3 children, Barbara Arthur, Charles E Loveless, and Larry R. Loveless all of Petersburg, IN. Also surviving are; 1 brother, Kenneth R. Loveless of Petersburg, 4 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. (C.S.T) Wednesday at the Corn- Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, IN. with the Rev. Wayne Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Oatsville, IN.

Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. (C.S.T.) Tuesday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home.
