Eleanor E. Litherland, 89, of Wichita, Kan., died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004.

She was born June 12, 1915 in Knox County to Claude and Hazel (Pennington) Swope. 

She was formerly of the Princeton and Francisco communities and was a member of the Fairview Presbyterian Church. 

Her parents and husband, Gerald "Jerry" Litherland preceded her in death. 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dick and Pat Litherland, of Goddard, Kan.; grandchildren, Quentin and Diane Litherland, Tammy Litherland, and Gina and Shane Kasson; and great grandsons, Brady and Cody Litherland. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14 at the Colvin Funeral Home, in Princeton, with the Rev. Tarrell Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Adams Corner Cemetery, in Allendale, Ill.

Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
