Stanley (Stan) Lee, 53, passed away at his home near Oakland City on Wed. April 26, 2006.

 

He was born on Sept. 2, 1952 to Alva Dwain and Wilma Simpson Lee.

 

He was a retired Old Ben coal miner and farmer. He also was a R.N. and had worked as a jail nurse for the Gibson Co. Sheriff’s office and was also a reserve deputy for several years. 

He was a member of the Forsythe United Methodist Church, the Oakland City F.& A.M. Lodge and Eastern Star, the Hadi Shrine, York Rite, I.O.O.F., Petersburg Moose, Oakland City Lion’s Club and the U.M.W.of A. local 4343. He was a Licensed Auctioneer. 

He is survived by: Wife, Cynthia (Loehr); Mother – Wilma Lee – Oakland City; Son - Scott (Cara) Lee – Oakland City; Daughter – Holly (Steve) Heichelbeck – Oakland City; Sister – Nancy (Terry) Byrns – Seymour, IN. 
3 Grandchildren; Twin boys Braden & Nathan Lee & Carter Lee.

 
He was preceded by his father, Dwain Lee in 1991 

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Corn–Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City with burial in the Cup Creek Cemetery in Pike County, IN. 

Friends may call from 3 until 8 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until service time Sat. at the Funeral Home.  There will be Masonic Rites at 7 p.m. Friday.
