BERTHA JUANITA (KEENE) LAGNEAU – age 73, Of Princeton, departed this life on the 24th day of December, 2004, at home with her loving husband Tom at her side. Bertha will be sadly missed, but forever loved in the hearts of her husband and children.

She was born in Bicknell, IN Jan. 24, 1931.

She was a housewife and mother. She and her husband moved to Princeton in 1986 from Hammond IN where they had lived for 37 years. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton and had been a member of the St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Hammond where she was a member of the Rosary Society. 

She was preceded in death by her only son (Robert F. Lagneau), Grandson (Jared M. Finger), her parents (Robert & Mary Keene) & 5 of her sisters. She is survived by her Husband of 57 years, Thomas (Tom) Lagneau, Daughters: Cathy Burk, Linda & Mike Poremba, Diana & Greg Bonnell, Juliette Lagneau, Rosemary & Scott Grady, Martha & Rick Canter, Mary Saunders, Rita Jines, Daughter in-law: Rita Lagneau, as well as, Grandsons: Rusty, Mark, Jeff, Greg JR, John Thomas, John Scott, Evan, Vincent, Kevin, Jonathan, Joshua Granddaughters: Serena, Veronica, Amanda, Amy, Ashley, Angela, Alyssa, Alexis. Great Grandsons & Great Granddaughters. Brothers & Sisters: Roy & Debbie Keene, Ragsdale, IN, Larry Keene, Bunker Hill, IN, Vernon Keene, Bicknell, IN. Elma Hollars, Lyons, IN, Minnie Phipps, & Julie Shoptaw both of Bicknell, IN. 

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton with the Rev. Bernie Etienne officiating. Burial will be in the Bicknell Memorial Cemetery in Bicknell IN.

Visitation will be at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. Monday where a wake service will be held 7 p.m. Monday
