Warren C. Land, 84, passed
away on Monday, August 21, 2006
at Bethel Manor Nursing Home in Evansville, Indiana. Warren
was a retired manager at Potter & Brumfield and lived most of his life in Princeton. He was a served in the Army Aircorp in
WWII. He was a member of the Prince Lodge #231 F&AM, Hadi
Shrine Valley of Evansville, American Legion Post #25, and a former member of
the Elks and Eagles.
He was born on June 7, 1922 in Johnson, IN to Clyde & Grace Land, both deceased.
Also preceding him in death was his wife, Betty Jo Land in 2005, brother,
Ike Land and a sister, Mary McConnell.
Warren is survived by his 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Reg & Eleanor Land of Indianapolis, Kim & Lora "Pug" Land of Ft. Branch,
J.C. & Misti Land of Darmstadt; 4 grandchildren,
Greg Herrell, Kimberly Land, James Land, and Heather
Land; and 1 great grandchild, Kaitlyn Lohe.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday August 25, 2006 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Chaplain John Lefler officiating.
Burial will be at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Friends may call from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Masonic Memorial
Service will be held at 7 PM
on Thursday evening.
