Harold Ellsworth “Elza” LaMar age 87 of Hazleton died 11:20 p.m. Saturday Jan 21, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. He was born is Hazleton IN on Jan. 3, 1919 to Hobart and Venus (Turpin) LaMar. He had worked for 35 years for the Purina Mill in Hazleton. 

He had lived in Hazleton all of his life. He had been a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge in Hazleton and formerly a member of the Hazleton Lions Club. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Malinda E. LaMar in 2001 his parents, 2 sons, Norman and Herb LaMar, 2 brothers, Lester and Chester LaMar, 2 Sisters. Eva Grace LaMar and Martha Jane Warner, 1 great-great grandchild Eric Bryant.

He is survived by a daughter; Ada Littlepage, West Salem, IL; four sons Ray LaMar, Hobart LaMar, Allen LaMar and John LaMar all of Hazleton, a sister Ina Houghtaling of Hazleton, 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday CST at the gravesite in the Hazleton Community Cemetery, with the Rev, Paul Huntsman officiating. Friends may call at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, from 4 until 8 p.m. CST Monday.
