Stanley Krupicka,
age 92 of Princeton, passed away at his home Friday, January 20, 2006.
He was born in Oklahoma City, OK on June 20, 1913 to John and Anna (Hazlik) Krupicka who preceded him in death along with 3 brothers
and 2 sisters.
He worked in the oil fields in Texas before moving to Indiana in 1938. He worked for the Indiana State Highway
Department and also farmed until he retired in 1974. He was a member of the
Prince Lodge # 231 F& A.M. in Princeton for 50
years and the Eagles and the Hadi Shrine and Scottish
Rite of Evansville and the former Hadi Shrine Motor
Patrol.
Stanley was a member of the Hillside United Methodist Church
of Princeton. He was President of the Francisco Town Board from 1963 to 1966.
He started and was the chairman of the Gibson County Shrine Club Blood Draw.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years Thelma (Rogers) Krupicka, son Donald E. Krupicka of Francisco; grandson, Mark Krupicker
of Conro, TX; a granddaughter, Donna Thompson of Odessa,
TX; a great-grandson, Matt Krupicka
and great-granddaughter, Morgan Krupicka.
Services will be held at 2 P.M.
Monday,
January 23, 2006 at the
Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Craig Duke officiating.
Friends may call for
visitation from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Francisco.
