Freda J. Krieg, age 83 of Francisco, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at the Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

She was a member of the Francisco General Baptist Church. She worked as a nurse’s aide. 

She was born June 7, 1922 in Hazleton to Thomas & Florence (Thorne) Stiles, both deceased.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Krieg in 1989, a son, James Byron Krieg, 3 sisters, Irene Hill, Glendora Wirth and Evelyn Robb; 4 brothers, James, Chester, Harold & Roger Stiles. 

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Larry Doyle of Boonville, Mo., Karen & Lamar Bryant of Lakeland, Fl., Ada Fay & Robert Sloan of Francisco, James R. Krieg of Petersburg, Grover C. & Hilda Krieg of Pentress, W.V., Mary L. Charles of Petersburg, Steven & Elaine Krieg of Petersburg, Nancy Miller of Francisco, and Barbara & Glenn Land of Princeton; 22 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 2, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Joe Hollen officiating. Burial will be at the Miller Cemetery in Pike County, Indiana.

Friends may call from 12 until 2 PM on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
