Robert Louis Kranitz, 64, of Princeton, IN passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007 at his home.

 

He lived in the Princeton area since 1972 coming from Warsaw, IN.

 

He was born December 24, 1942 in Plymouth, Indiana to Louis & Opal (Baughman) Kranitz. His father preceded him in death. 

He owns Bob Kranitz Used Cars in
Evansville. He was also the owner of Bob Kranitz Dodge, GMC, Olds, and Pontiac Dealership in Princeton for 19 years. He was a previous partner of Southern Indiana Tire. He loved old British cars and belonged to Sir British Car Club of Evansville. Bob was on the board of directors of the G.C.A.R.C., the Y.M.C.A., the Boys Club of America, and the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce. He was Past President of the Princeton Rotary Club and a member of the Hillside United Methodist Church. Bob loved his family dearly and enjoyed attending the activities they were involved in. 

Bob is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gloria; his mother Opal of Walkerton, IN; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Robin & Kenny Goldbach and Janna & Kevin Hennessy of Princeton; 7 grandchildren, Jordan Thacker, Jake Thacker, Austin Clark, Nathan Hennessy, & Chase Goldbach all of Princeton and Abby Goldbach and Krissy Goldbach of Destin, FL; 2 sisters & brothers-in-law, Carol & Jerry King of Liberty, IN. and Dianne & Darrell Stephens of Argos, IN. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton with the Rev. Craig Duke officiating. Burial will be at the
Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Friends may visit Wednesday from 3 until 8 p.m. at Hillside United Methodist Church
