He was born
He retired from Mid-States Rubber, Inc. in 1991 after 33 years. He was a
Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of
the V.F.W. Post 1147.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Joyce Ann (Hill) Kemper; a daughter Angela
Marie (Kemper) Thompson and son-in-law Timothy Paul Thompson, Princeton, IN; 3
grandchildren Zachary Paul Thompson, Jeremiah Eugene Thompson and Cassidy Ann
Thompson, also of Princeton; 6 Sisters: Virginia (Bob) Mercer of Muncie, IN;
Shirley (Roy) Reno of Hobbs, New Mexico; Marlene Wirth of Chicago, IL; Joann
(J.C.) Bullock of Princeton, IN; Louwanna (James)
Patterson of Princeton, IN; and Peggy (Douglas) Forgy
of Cadiz, KY; and a brother Donald (Lily) Kemper of Clearwater, FL; and several
nieces and nephews.
