Mrs. Kathryn Wallace, 89, formally of Oakland City, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006 in Ft. Myers, Fl., where she had lived for the past five years.

She was born in Hazelton, IN to Joseph and Florence (Humphrys) Jones.

She was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Oakland City. She had been a Girl Scout Leader. 

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence and a daughter, Nancy (Melvin) Phillips, both of N. Ft. Myers. Two brothers Daniel Jones of Bloomington, IN and Lloyd Jones of Vincennes, IN; Three Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Wallace in 1971. 

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Feb. 18, 2006 at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, IN. with the Dr. Douglas Low Officiating. Burial will be in the Francisco I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
