John Thomas Jones, 80, of Princeton, died at 6:55 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005 at the Waters, in Huntingburg.

 

He was born Oct. 18, 1924 in Princeton

He was of the Baptist faith. He had been a farmer and a truck driver. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Eidola (Bledsoe) Jones; a sister, Ruby Hochmeister; a brother, Harold Leon Jones; and a nephew, John Hochmeister Jr. 

He is survived by nieces, Darlene Franzell, of Huntingburg, Connie Zimmerman, of Lincoln City, Beth Brown, of Holland, Debra Betz, of Celestine, Elaine Rice, of Dale and Cheryl Moore, of Newburgh; and nephews, Thomas Charles Hochmeister, of Jasper, Douglas R. Hochmeister, of Jasper and Charles A. Hochmeister, of Huntingburg.

Funeral services were Saturday at the Colvin Funeral Home, with the Rev. George Prinzing officiating. Final disposition was at
Columbia (White Church) Cemetery.
