Edwin Eugene (Wabash) Johnson, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 11, 2007.

 

He was born near Griffin, Indiana on September 24, 1933.

 

He was a retired conductor and brakeman for the Southern Railway, where he worked for 34 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the Navy. He was a member of the United Transportation Union 90 and of the V.F.W. Post # 1147.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Warren in 1969 and his mother, Thelma in 1993. 

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Leona; three children, Rick (Dee Ann) Johnson of Evansville; Teresa (Shane) Lewis & David (Judy) Johnson both of
Princeton. He was also the proud grandfather of three grandchildren, Jill Johnson, Andy Johnson and Brittany Lewis. 

Funeral services will be held at
10 A.M. Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Friends may visit from 4 until 8 P.M. Monday at Colvin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton. V.F.W. # 1147 will provide full military rites at the cemetery.
