Donald E. Jett, 71, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at VNA Charlier Hospice Center, in Evansville

He was a member of the
Patoka Methodist Church, in Patoka. He retired from Hansen Mfg. in 1998, after 22 years. He also had worked at Southern Indiana Tire and his last employment was at the sporting goods dept. at Wal-Mart, in Princeton. He was a member of the American Legion and the Conservation Club. 

He was born
April 18, 1933 to Kenneth and Nina (Chambers) Jett, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Jett. 

He is survived by his wife, Lu (Cleveland) Jett, of Princeton; daughter, Loraine "Lori" Kennedy and her special friend, Jim Griffin, of Evansville; son, Robert and his wife Tracy Jett, of Princeton; son, Donald Jett and his special friend Tracey Gamache, of Hudson Falls, N.Y.; stepson, Bryan and his wife Eleanor King, of Hudson Falls, N.Y.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Jocelyn R. Klein, of Bicknell; brothers, Jim Jett, of Owensville and Gearld Jett, of Elnora; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be at
2 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at the Colvin Funeral Home, in Princeton, with the Rev. Greg Davis officiating.

 

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home. VFW 1147 will provide military rites at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at North River Cemetery, in New York
