Jack D. Ivy, 60, of Decker, Indiana, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.

 

He had lived in Decker for the past 14 years, moving there from Princeton

He was born
June 29, 1947 in Princeton, Indiana to Mont C. and Grace (Hart) Ivy who preceded him in death. Also, preceding him in death were brothers, John, and Montie, and sisters Virginia, and Maxine. 

Jack was a retired member of the Princeton Fire Department, retiring in 1999. 

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of 43 years; 1 son, Mark Ivy, Smithville; 1 daughter, Robin (Rick) Carter, Princeton; 1 brother, Dexter Ivy, Princeton; 2 sisters, Violet Thorne, Princeton and Gayle Ivy, Chicago; 6 grandchildren, Braydon Meny, Morgan, Meny, Taylor Ivy, Trevor Ivy, Mackenzie Ivy and Trenton Carter. 

Funeral services will be held on
Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Scott Burr officiating.

 

Friends may visit Tuesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Colvin Funeral Home.
