Vera Gwen Hurst, 74 of Francisco, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2006 at her home in Francisco.

She was a homemaker and lived in Francisco all her life. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star-Princeton and the Beadle Bunch Relay for Life Team. She was an artist and enjoyed flowers, gardening, and decorating the house for holidays. 

She was born June 7, 1932 in Francisco, Indiana to William & Fannie (Maxam) Collins, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry T. Hurst in 2001. 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra & Tony Wolfe of Hazleton; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel & Susan Hurst of Vincennes; Terry L.& Lora Hurst of Petersburg; Tracy A. & Karla Hurst of Oakland City; 7 grandchildren, Andy Hurst, Cheri (Brian) Norrington, Audra (Andrew) Wolfe, Clint Wolfe, Sarah (John) Wolfe, Ryan Hurst & Jason Hurst; 2 great grandchildren, Colton Mallory and Travis Norrington; 1 brother, Bill Collins of Princeton; 2 sisters, Katherine Sisson of Casselberry, FL. and Martha Lewis of Princeton. 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 13, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Francisco.
