Henry Ray Hunt, 69, lifetime resident of Princeton, passed away on Sunday August 17, 2008 at his home in Princeton.

 

Henry was retired from Whirlpool after 35 years. He also served in the US Navy as a petty officer testing torpedoes in Hawaii and San Diego. He was a member of the VFW #1147, Eagles #361 & American Legion #25. 

He was born on
December 25, 1938 in Mannington, KY to William Norris Hunt and Selma E. (Coburn) Hunt McCormick, both deceased. 

Henry is survived by his wife, Glenda Hunt of Princeton; 2 daughters, Lucinda Hunt of Oklahoma City, OK and Lisa Hunt of Princeton; 5 grandchildren, Lesley Holmes of Norman, OK, Lonna Holmes of Oklahoma City, OK, Lance Holmes of Evansville, Justin Sullivan and Kennedy Griesemer both of Princeton; 1 great granddaughter on the way, Jacinda Anne Boyington; 6 brothers and sisters, William Hunt of Indianapolis, Doris Jean Thomas of New Port Richey, FL, Robert Hunt of Hazleton, Linda Lou Lopez of Mt. Carmel, Jerry Wayne Hunt of Safety Harbor, FL and Donna Sue Lamey of Ft. Branch; several nieces and nephews and many special friends. 

Funeral Services will be held at
3:00 PM on Wednesday August 20, 2008 at the Hillside United Methodist Church, Old Hwy 41 North, Princeton with the Rev. Craig Duke officiating.

 

Friends may visit from 6 until 9 PM on Tuesday and from 2 PM until service time on Wednesday at the Hillside Church. VFW Post #1147 will conduct services at the church. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
