Roland "Rock" Horrall, 94, of Patoka passed away Monday, December 31, 2007 at his home in Patoka, IN. He lived most of his lifetime in the Gibson County area. 

He was born on
July 27, 1913 at Decker Chapel in Knox County, Indiana, to Beryl and Fay Horrall who preceded him in death along with his wife Helen M. Horrall in 2002, an infant daughter Elizabeth Jean Horrall and two brothers Nolan & Byron Horrall

Roland was a farmer, a member of the Thoroughbred Horse Racing Association, Farm Bureau and the Eagles. 

He is survived by 2 sons: Beryl Ray (Lisa) Horrall, Bedford, IN and Ed (Ellyn) Horrall, Patoka, IN; 2 daughters: Roxanne (Bob) Swan, Evansville, IN, and Rosiene (Don) Weaver, Cincinnati, OH; 3 sisters: Patricia Welsh, Evansville, IN, Marilyn Bilskie, Vincennes, IN, and Beverly Marchino, Danville, IN; 1 Brother: Marlin Horrall, Vincennes; 8 grandchildren: Andy and Landon Swan, Ben and Paul Weaver, Elizabeth and Emily Horrall, Blane Horrall and Christopher Hill; 2 great grandchildren: Ava and Roland Swan; many nieces, nephews, and treasured friends. 

Funeral services will be held on
Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Greg Davis officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

 

Friends may visit on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Colvin Funeral Home.
