PRINCETON--Inez C. Hope, 94, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at 1:27 a.m. at Gibson General Hospital.

 

She was born in Pike County on Feb. 5, 1910 and worked as an aide in the therapy department of Gibson General Hospital for 20 years.

 

She lived in the Wheeling community since 1928, coming from Pike County. She was a member of Wheeling United Methodist Church.

 

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Nancy Hope of Francisco; a son-in-law, Lee Willis of Princeton; five grandchildren, Troy Willis, Shane Hope, Kelly Hope, Justin Hope and Nikki Coburn; seven great-grandchildren, Chelsea Willis, Tristan Hope, Tanner Hope, Gage Hope, Dalton Coburn, Cordell Coburn and Taylor Lucas; two nieces; and a nephew.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hope in 1965; a daughter, Normalea Willis in 1995; sons Jerry Hope in 2000 and Curtis Hope in 2003.

 

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home, Rev. Tom Stiles officiating. Final disposition will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus.

 

Friends may call at the Colvin Funeral Home from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday.
