Lloyd L. “Red” Higgins Sr., age 64 of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 22, 2005 at his home in Princeton.

 

He was retired from Foster & Wheeler. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton. He was a former member of the Eagles #361. He was a Navy Veteran. 

He was born in
West Salem, Illinois on April 25, 1940 to Lloyd R. & Iva Mae (Garrett) Higgins, both deceased. He is also preceded in death by 2 sons, Ricky Lee & Timothy Higgins; and 1 daughter, Sondra Kay Higgins. 

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Peggy (Phebus) Higgins of Princeton; a son, Lloyd Higgins Jr. of
Evansville; a daughter, Teresa Lovett of Princeton; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dorothy (Johnny) Young of Mobile, Alabama and Judy Stilwell of Patoka; several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be held on
Monday April 25, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Pastor George Prinzing and Sister Jen officiating. Burial will be at Maumee Cemetery in Johnson.

 

Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time at the Colvin Funeral Home.
