Roger D. Haubold, 64, of Princeton passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

 

He was a coal miner and a member of the UMWA #1791. He attended the Day Spring Community Church in Owensville. He lived in Princeton for the past 17 years, coming from Illinois

He was born
August 27, 1944 in Taylorville, Illinois to Lyle & Mildred (Porter) Haubold, who both preceded him in death.

 

He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Kenny & Lyle Jr. Haubold

Roger is survived by his wife, Linda Haubold of Princeton; 3 step daughters, Kathy (Steve) Blume of Princeton, Melinda Bradshaw of Patoka & Billie (Tim) Hale of Winslow; 2 step sons, Thomas Umpleby of Princeton and Daniel Umpleby of Patoka; 2 daughters, Michelle and Valerie both of Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Janice Smith of Riverton, IL and Sherry Gilpin of Taylorville, IL; and 2 brothers, Rick and Keith Haubold both of Taylorville, IL. 

Funeral services will be held on
Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 2 P.M. at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, IN with the Rev. Scott Burr officiating. Burial will be at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch, IN.

 

There will be visitation from 4 until 8 PM on Wednesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
