Mr. David Wayne Harvey, 72, passed away Sunday Jan. 28,2007, at the Jasper Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Mt. Olympus, IN. to Glaze and Nora Ellen (Jenkins) Harvey on June 23,1934.

He had lived in Pike Co. IN. for most of his life and retired from Old Ben II Coal Mine as a welder. He was a member of the Glezen General Baptist Church and U.M.W. of A. local 4343. 

He is survived by his wife, Donetta ( Falls), son David Scott Harvey and daughter, Donna Kay Charles, both of Petersburg. He also is survived by a brother, Bobbie Harvey of Princeton, IN., sisters Paula Ricketts of Mesa, Az. and Beulah McCullough of Oregon. Five granddaughters and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday Feb. 1,2007 at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City with the Rev. Jack Hamm officiating. Burial will be in the Knight's Chapel Cemetery near Oatsville, IN.
