Minerva Hardiman, 85 passed away Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Core Nursing Home in Evansville under the loving care of the Living Water Hospice.

 

She was a lifetime member of the Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church for 85 years. She was very active with her family and her church. Minerva retired as a janitor for the North Gibson School Corp. after 25 years of service. 

Minerva was born
July 10, 1922 to George & Annie (Lyles) Madison, both deceased.

 

She was also preceded in death by her husband, William C. Hardiman; her son, Daniel Hardiman; brother, Sylvester Madison; 2 sisters, Berneitha Booth and Shirley Madison. 

She is survived by her grandchildren, Denise Hardiman, Bonnie Young, Daniel Hardiman, Guenevere Pormorski and Tasha Young; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a brother, Heavin Madison of Terre Haute; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. 

Funeral Services will be held on
Tuesday July 24, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Allen McClendon officiating. Burial will be at the Sand Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

 

There will be a wake/visitation from 4 until 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
