Bruce Wayne “Fats” Hardiman age 48 went to be with the Lord after losing his battle with cancer Saturday August 2, 2008 at Humbert Lanes Nursing Home in Washington PA.

 

He was born Aug. 12, 1959 in Princeton IN to Floyd L. and Pearlene (Washington) Hardiman. He had lived in Penn. for the past 29 years moving there from Princeton

Bruce was a horse trainer at the Meadow Horse Track. He was an avid reader and a talented horse trainer. People came from hundreds of miles to see the horses he was training. 

He leaves behind his two sons Jordan and Jared Miller of Washington PA, his mother Pearlene Hardiman, Princeton, sister Barbara (Richard) Wright, Washington, IN, six brothers; Ike (Jane) Hardiman, Deleon Springs, FL, Terry (Leigh Ann) Hardiman, Gary Hardiman, Mark (Tina) Hardiman, Ray (Shelly) Hardiman and Rodney Hardiman all of Princeton, aunts uncles nieces nephews and cousins, including Aunt Helen Hardiman, Princeton, his companion Lisa Swihart, Eighty Four PA, and the mother of his children Sherry Miller, Washington PA. 

He was preceded in death by his father Floyd Hardiman and a brother Marlin “Bob” Hardiman on
May 19, 2008

Funeral services will be
2 p.m. Saturday Aug. 9, 2008 at the Colvin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery rural Princeton.

 

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
