Jimmy Paul Hale, 59, went to be with his forefathers on Tuesday September 23, 2008 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

 

He was born on January 29, 1949 in Princeton to Florence (Gayheart) and Charles Hale. 

He was a Vietnam Vet and was unemployed at the time of his death. He enjoyed hunting and being with his grandkids. 

His father, Charles Hale preceded him in death. 

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 25 years, Deborah (Sturgeon) Hale of Union, IN; his mother, Florence Hale Smith of Greenfield, IN; daughter, Dana Travis and son, Ronald (Rita) Travis all of Winslow and a daughter, Sherry Laytham of Rockport; 11 grandchildren, Josh, James, Sky, Draven, Isaiah, Makayla, Ayona, Emma and Trenton Travis, Leresa Laytham and Jimmy Nix; great-grandson, Brandon Shaffer; 2 brothers, 
Jerry (Robin) Hale of Princeton and Myron (Gina) Hale of Georgeton, KY. 

Graveside Services will be held at
2 PM CDT on Saturday September 27, 2008 at the Union Community Cemetery with the Rev. Gene Troop officiating. Burial will follow.

 

There will be no public visitation. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. VFW Post #1147 will conduct military graveside services.
