John Robert Greer, 80, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. 

He was born in Gibson County, Indiana on July 24, 1924.

He retired in 1989 from Potter & Brumfield in Princeton, where he had worked for 33 years. He was an avid sports fan. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nettie Smith and his wife, Beth (Mason) Greer in 1993. 

Survivors include his son, Duane (Cheryl) Greer, of Palm Harbor, Florida; a daughter, Toni (Bill) Keith, of Decker, Indiana; 4 grandchildren, Shauna Greer, of Altamonte Springs, Florida; B. J. Marvel, of Princeton, Indiana; Andy Marvel and Krystle Keith, both of Owensville, Indiana. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 14, 2005 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Fred Brittain.

Friends may call for visitation from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Colvin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Decker Cemetery rural Patoka, Indiana.
