Barbara E. Greene, 62 passed away Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She retired from Hansen’s in 1999 after 10 years of service. She was a member of the Bethel AME Church in Princeton. 

Barbara was born December 8, 1944 to Lester & Ardell Hardiman. She is preceded in death by her father. 

She is survived by her husband, John H Greene of Princeton; mother, Ardell Hardiman of Princeton; children, Cathy Hardiman of Princeton, John (Sherri) Hardiman of Princeton, Anthony Chavis of Evansville, Chris (Stephanie) Chavis of Princeton and Noel Chavis of Princeton; step-children, Jonita Greene of Princeton, Tyrone Greene of Princeton, Vanessa McCleary of Bloomington, Harriet Younger of Denver, CO, and Angela Greene of Chicago, IL; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; several step grandchildren; brother, James Hardiman of Princeton; 2 sisters, Carmen Jones of Princeton and Renee` (Herman) McCormick of Evansville; several aunts & uncles; 1 nephew and 3 nieces. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 25, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be at the Sand Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

Friends may visit from 4 until 8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
