Clydus M. Green, 91, of Patoka, died Saturday, March
26, 2005 at his home in
Patoka.
He was born in Posey County on May 10, 1913 to Delmar and Alta (Embry) Green.
He was a self-employed carpenter for over 50 years. He had lived in Patoka for
the past 10 years, moving there after living in the Princeton and Francisco area for many years. He was a member of Columbia Masonic
Lodge 450, Scottish Rite of Evansville and Eagles Aerie 4288, of Oakland City.
He is survived by a daughter, Mary (Joe) Abel, of Columbus, Ohio; three sons, Aaron (Judy) Green, of Scottsdale, Ariz., Jerry (Ellie) Green, of Francisco and George (Gery) Green, of Evansville; a sister, Florence Baylor, of Princeton; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two
great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Anna A. (Burton) Green.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m.
Wednesday,
March 30, 2005 at the Colvin
Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Hurst Jr. officiating. Burial will be in
the Maple Hill Cemetery, in Princeton.
