Arthur E. "Gene" Gladish, 68, of Princeton passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at his home in Princeton.

He lived most of his lifetime in the Gibson County area. 

He was born January 3, 1939 in Gibson County, Indiana to Arthur P. and Edna (Armstrong) Gladish who preceded him in death along with his 2 brothers, James and George Gladish; a sister, Emma Hower; and a granddaughter, Ashlee Hagen. 

Arthur worked at Emge Packing Company for 27 years and retired from Whirlpool after 11 years. 

He is survived by his wife, Vickie; 3 daughters, Kara Robeson of Indianapolis, Jana Gladish and Leah Gladish both of Vincennes; 1 step daughter, Tina East of Poseyville; 4 step sons, Greg Hagen of Indianapolis, Mark Hagen of Minot, ND, Eric Hagen of Linton, IN, and Greg East of Poseyville; 10 grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Marilyn Garland of Chandler, and Mary Creedon of Princeton. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 10 A.M. at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Jeff Enochs officiating. Burial will be at the Columbia "White" Church Cemetery with military graveside services by VFW Post #1147.

Friends may visit Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. at Colvin Funeral Home.
