Frank F. Foster, 77, passed away on Wednesday October 8, 2008 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

 

He retired from Potter & Brumfield in 1987 after 37 years. Frank was a member of the Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton. He was a member of the Prince Lodge #231 F&AM, and a former member of the Scottish Rite and Hadi Shrine in Evansville. Frank was an avid golfer and a member and former board member of the Princeton Country Club. He was a life member of the Elks Lodge #634. 

Frank was born on
September 28, 1931 in Evansville to Elwood & Maude (Pierce) Foster, both deceased. Also preceding him in death were his two brothers, Louis Elwood and Jerry Foster. 

Frank is survived by his wife of 54 years, Peggy (Pavey) Foster of Princeton; 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Doug & Mary Anne Foster of Soddy Daisy, TN and Mark & Lisa Foster of Evansville, IN; 2 granddaughters, Leah (Britt) Watson of Soddy Daisy TN and Sadie (Ryan) Saullo of San Diego, CA; 2 brothers, Bill Foster of Vincennes and John Foster of Princeton; and 2 sisters, Betty Lindy of Fairborn, OH and Mary Alice Kimbrough of Richmond, IN. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday October 11, 2008 at the Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton with the Rev. Craig Duke officiating. Burial will be at the
Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton and from 1 PM until service time on Saturday at the church.
