Arthur E. Fisher, 83, died at 7:56 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004 at River Oaks Health Campus, in Princeton.

 

He was born July 26, 1921 in Clarion County, Pa. 

He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a manager for G.C. Murphy for 42 years. He was a member of the
Fort Branch United Methodist Church and enjoyed woodworking. 

He is survived by his wife Muriel, of
Princeton; a son, Bruce (Ronica) Fisher, of Princeton; a brother, Robert Fisher, of Fairmont, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Vance (Sherry) Fisher, of Yankeetown, and Traci (Robert) Flater, of Patoka; and three great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be at
10 a.m. Wednesday at the Colvin Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Windell officiating. Final disposition will be at the White Church Cemetery, with VFW Post 1147 providing military rites at the cemetery.

 

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home.
