Michael R. (Noel) Fetcher, 53, died at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital, in Vincennes.

He was born Oct. 9, 1951 in Evansville. 

He lived in Monroe City for the past four years, moving there from Hazleton. He graduated from Owensville High School in 1969 and worked for Growers Co-op, in Frichton. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Basil D. and Virginia P. (Robinson) Fetcher; his son, Michael Edward Fetcher, in 1992; and a sister, Martha Fetcher Mason. 

He is survived by a sister, Lois June Oliver, of Monroe City; five brothers, Carroll D. Fetcher, of Griffin, Stephen D. Fetcher, of Princeton; Troy A. Fetcher, of Griffin, Kent D. Fetcher, of Owensville and Roger B. Fetcher, of Darmstadt; an aunt, Pauline Crawford, of Owensville; an uncle and aunt, Warren and Katherine Fetcher, of Chandler; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were Sunday at Colvin Funeral Home, with final disposition at the Hazleton Community Cemetery. The Rev. Gary Arnold officiated.
