Newell E. "Toots" Ellis, 95 passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.

She was a member of the Ft. Branch Methodist Church and lived most of her life in the Ft. Branch area. 

She was born June 14, 1911 to J. D. & Grace (Cary) Manning, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Gordon Elmore, Curtis Beloat and Hubert Ellis; a sister, Eileen Boerke and a brother, Vincent Manning. 

Newell is survived by her children, Gordon H. Elmore Jr. of Ft. Branch, John M. Elmore of Nashville, TN, Joseph V. Elmore of Bend, OR, and Judith A. Marx of Irvine, CA; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and 4 sisters, Dorothy Marie Morrison, Marjorie White, and Maxine Julian all of Princeton and Velta Edrington of Pantagorda, FL. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday May 18, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. John Windell officiating. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Princeton.

Family & friends may visit from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
