Ruth Ellen Edwards, 72 of Hazleton, Indiana passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2007 from an auto accident north of Patoka.

She retired from Amax Coal Mine in 1996 after 18 years of service. 

She was born May 18, 1934 in Gibson County to Orlan & Olive (Hayes) Edwards, both deceased. 

Ruth is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Joetta & Michael Tislow of Hazleton; and cousins. 

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday March 4, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Paul Huntsman officiating. Burial will be at the Shiloh Cemetery in Hazleton.

Friends may visit from 4 until 8 PM on Saturday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
