James H. Dunn, 79, of Princeton, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March
9, 2005 at River Oaks Health
Campus, in Princeton.
He was born Nov. 13, 1925 in Princeton.
He lived his entire life in Princeton and was a member of the Oasis Assembly of God. He
worked as a plater for Princeton Plating Works and
Vincennes Plating Works. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy and
was a member of VFW Post 1147.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Dessie
(Murphy) Dunn; his wife, Kathryn Dunn, in 1998; two sons, James Dunn Jr. and
Buddy Dunn; a brother, Percy Dunn; and three sisters, Rosanna Pride, Norma J.
Burns and Edna M. Dunn.
He is survived by two daughters, Brenda Thompson, of Fort Branch and Kathy Grubb, of Haubstadt; a son, Frank Dunn, of Princeton; 15 grandchildren; and two brothers, Jim Dunn, of Francisco and Jerry
Dunn, of Kentucky.
Funeral services will at 11 a.m.
Saturday at the Colvin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Marsh officiating.
Final disposition will be at the IOOF Cemetery, in Princeton. VFW Post 1147 will conduct military graveside
services.
