Serena Dillon, 66 of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Monday, May 8, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Hazleton Lions Club. 

She was born November 25, 1939 and raised in Giro, Indiana to Ranvil and Elsie (Senn) Young, both deceased. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Loretta Schatz 

She is survived by her husband of almost 49 years, Robert “Jack” Dillon; 4 children, Larry J. Dillon and Lana J. Otten both of Hazleton, Robert L. Dillon Jr. of Princeton, and R. Alan Dillon of Lafayette, Indiana; 7 grandchildren, Kelsey & Benjamin Dillon, Zeplyn Keller, Carl, Sharon & Brandon Taylor, and Karen Horton; 3 great grandchildren, Stephanie & Destiny Taylor and Rayiden Horton; 3 sisters, Lilly M. Schatz of Princeton, Lois Guard of Mt. Carmel, Il., and Norma J. Schatz of Hazleton. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 11, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Gary Arnold officiating. Burial will be at the Davidson Cemetery in Pike County.

Friends may call from 12 until 2 PM on Thursday at the Funeral Home. There will be a Lions Club Memorial Ceremony prior to the service.
