Goldie M. (Watkins) Dillon, 99, of Oatsville, died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2005 at Good Samaritan Home, in Oakland City.

She was born Feb. 24, 1906 in Gibson County. 

She had been a housewife and lived her entire lifetime in the Oatsville community and Dillon Corner. She was a member of the Mt. Tabor Church. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Dillon, in 2002; her parents, Munford and Laura (Shoultz) Watkins; a sister, Ruby Pearson Cunningham; and brothers, David, William, Laverne and Frank Watkins. 

She is survived by a sister, Lavada Borders, of Francisco; a sister-in-law, Christine Watkins, of Francisco; and nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Colvin Funeral Home, with the Revs. Wayne Rowland and Tom Stiles officiating. Burial will be at Atkinson Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
