He was a veteran of the
Korean War. He was also a member of the VFW Post#1147, American Legion, and the
Conservation Club.
He worked for Princeton Telephone Company and then Contel
for 42 years and never missed a day. He received several awards for his
dedicated service. He loved the out-doors. He loved to
mushroom hunt, deer hunt, fish, garden or anything to do outside. He loved to
spend his time at his river cabin and to pitch horseshoes. He was a very gentle
man and his family always came first.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday September 23, 2005 at the
Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Edmond Harris officiating.
