Princeton, Indiana--Marlene J. Deffendall, 67, of Princeton, died Thursday, March 29, 2001, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She was born September 26, 1933 in Decker.

She was retired from Potter & Brumfield. She resided in Princeton all of her life. She was a member of the Church of God in Princeton.

Surviving are her husband, Richard L. of Princeton; two daughters, Brenda J. Boyle of Francisco and Teresa L. Wilson of Princeton; a son, Kelly B. Deffendall of Princeton; seven grandchildren, Bobbi Berry, Todd Boyle, Katy Winkler, Angela Winkler, Mallory Deffendall, Allison Deffendall and Richard Kelly Deffendall; two great-grandchildren, Clayton Berry and Cassie Berry; five sisters, Pauline Burnett of Lafayette and Helen Brines, Mary Litherland, Louise McKown and Joan Spruell, all of Mt. Carmel, ILL.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 1, at Colvin Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Singleton will officiate. Burial will be at White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 31 at the funeral home.
