Ellen V. Dawson, 91, of Princeton passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at the Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was a member of the Patoka United Methodist Church. She retired in 1978 from DeMoss Drug Store after 25 years. 

Ellen was born on July 19, 1916 in Princeton to Harvey & Anna Lee Amy, both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Dawson in 1997; 2 sisters, Corean Hightower and Velma Thompson; and 1 brother, Herschel Amy. 

Ellen is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Jim & Barbara Dawson of Greenville, SC; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Judy & Robert Sieferman of Indianapolis and Janice & Robert Gibson Jr. of Princeton; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Mary Masterson of Kenton, OH. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 26, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Rev. Craig Duke. Burial will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton.

Friends may visit from 4 until 7 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
