Thomas J. Davis, age 59, passed away on Thursday October 20, 2005 at the Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

He formerly worked for Water Works Supply as a truck driver. He was a former member of the Eagles in Princeton and a Vietnam Army Veteran (member of the 101st Airborne Division.) 

He was born on October 5, 1946 in Richmond, IN. His father preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by a grandson, Logan Davis 

Thomas is survived by his mother, Alice June Givens of California; his life companion, Dixie Christmas of Princeton; son & daughter-in-law, Jeremy & Michelle Davis of Evansville; daughter, Laura Davis-Stiles of Francisco; 4 grandchildren, Kendra Lloyd, Gabriel Allen Davis, Maylyn Miller, Jarrett Miller; 2 sisters & brothers-in-law, Katharine & Dennis Rohrs, Annie & David Alan Bilter all of California; brother & sister-in-law, Jerry & Carol Davis of Oregon; several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday October 24, 2005 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Craig Duke officiating.

Friends may call from 4 until 8 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. VFW Post #1147 will conduct services at the funeral home.
