Robert Lee Davenport, age 30, of Evansville died Wednesday Aug. 23, 2006 at his home in Evansville.

 

He was born April 26, 1976 in Oakland CA to Lee and Chris (Hartmann) Davenport.

 

He had lived in Evansville for the past nine months moving there from Hatfield, IN. Robert worked in the kitchen at the Red Lobster restaurant in Evansville

He had received a degree in landscaping in
Sacramento, CA. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. He very much enjoyed playing his guitars. 

Surviving are his parents Lee and Chris Davenport of Princeton, sister and brother-in-law, Shiela and Brad Adams, Princeton, sister Mary Lee Davenport and her husband Nestor, of the Philippines, Robert’s finance, Missy Dant and her sons, Matt and Jimmy with whom he lived. Also surviving are his grandmother, Winnona Davenport, Hobart, IN, eight nieces and nephews, Tiana, Nica, Danny, Bryan, Mark, Dylan, Christopher and Marissa, many aunts, uncles, and lots of cousins. 

Funeral Services will be
1 p.m. Saturday at the First General Baptist Church on highway 64 east of Princeton, with the Rev. Fred Brittain officiating.

 

Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
