Mr. George J. Culbertson, 78, passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006 at his home in Oakland City.

He was born in Glezen, IN to Hobart and Clesta (McGillem) Culbertson but had lived much of his life in Oakland City.

He worked for Strand Steel Co. in Terre Haute, IN. He was an Army veteran during the Japanese occupation. He was a member of the Oakland City First Pentecostal Church. 

His wife, Barbara, passed away in September, 2006. 

He is survived by: 4 children; Connie (Richard) Loveless of Oakland City, Thomas Culbertson of Petersburg, IN., George H. Culbertson of Princeton, IN. and Steven Culbertson of Oakland City: sister, Helen (Elwood) Pride of Algiers, IN, 25 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 14 at the Somerville Cemetery. 

There will be no visitation at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City.
